A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at the New Life 
Center, 4201 Stine Road. A reception will immediately follow hosted by Gene 
and Sue Krause. The family invites all of Janices friends to join them in 
celebrating her life. 

Janice was an amazing wife for 44 years to Troy W. Hewes. A perfect mother to 
Troy, Andy, Pat and Jason. A blessing of a mother-in-law to Amy, Jennifer and 
Tuesday. A wonderful big sister to Billy, Chuck and Claire Underhill. The BEST 
Grandma in the world to her eight grandchildren, Savannah, Riley, Randy, 
Caleb, Joseph, Jared, Rikki, Cody, and the baby girl on the way.

Janices favorite things in life were chasing after her eight grandchildren, 
going to her cabin every weekend with her husband, playing bunko with her 
bunko buddies (once a month for over thirty years), watching her soaps, 
working at the White Oak Flower Shop, drinking a classic coke out of a glass 
bottle after a long day and enjoying her four boys and all the extended family 
that came with them.

Janice was a person that everyone who she met instantly referred to her as a 
friend. She never met a stranger. She loved having a full house of family and 
friends. Janice was our best friend as well as a wife, mom, sister, mother-in-
law and grandma, she will be truly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
