A Viewing and visitation will begin for Cleo, Jr. on Tuesday, December 21, 2004, 1:00 p.m. with a mediation/wake scheduled from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beloved Care Funeral Services, 115 18th St., Bakersfield, CA. Cleo Jr. attended McKinley Elementary School, Emerson Jr. High School and South High School. He had a passion for math, science, drawing, and cooking (and his food was good). But above all he longed for the opportunity to work beside his father, Cleo Johnson Sr. and his uncle, Leo Johnson. Unfortunately his health limited him from fulfilling his dreams. Living a comfortable life in his grandparents care, they helped instill in him to stand up for what is right. He loved his mother, Deborah Ann Burton dearly. Cleo was preceded in death by his father, Cleo Johnson, Sr., three uncles, Johnny Briggs, Sr., Sam Jeffery, and Elray Johnson; two aunts, Donnie Lawson and Bonnie Johnson. He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Deborah Ann Burton of Temple, TX; uncle, Leo Johnson; grandparents, Joe and Mary Robinson; a special aunt, Rosie Briggs all of Bakersfield, CA; five brothers, Ryan, Christian and Caleb Johnson, Joseph Cummings, Anthony Beatty; five sisters, Teresa, Bobbi and LeeAn Burton, Chyna Rogers, and Candace Johnson; a host of nephews, nieces, loving relatives and close family and friends. Funeral services for Cleo Jr. will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2004, 1:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Lighthouse Christian Ministries, 711 E. Brundage Lane.
