The family of Katie Michael and the many people that she assisted over the 
years have a lifetime of memories of this true Woman of Substance. Katie spent 
her lifetime caring for her family and anyone she met that could use a helping 
hand. If she had a dollar she would give you 80 cents and say the remainder 
was enough for her. Her home was always open house for the neighborhood kids 
with a full cookie jar. She will be greatly missed by her loving relatives, 
but welcomed by her husband, Lloyd; daughter, Lois; sister, Mae and brother, 
Elmer who preceded her in death.

Katie is survived by nephew, Elmer Norris; niece, Kate Kalaghan and husband, 
Paul; nephew, Jack Mills and wife, Rosie; great-nieces, Lori Blan and husband, 
David; Leah Wiggins and husband, John and great-great-nieces, Michelle Blan, 
Kristina Gonzalez and Jenifer Jones along with great-great-nephew, Michael 
Blan.

Visitation will be held on December 21, 10:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m., at Greenlawn 
Mortuary, 3700 River Blvd. A family graveside service will be held on December 
22, at 9:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
