Chaplain Gary Bashor will officiate. Roselyn was born July 17, 1917 in Menno, South Dakota and resided in Kern County for 68 years. She had a great love for the Lord Jesus and children. The love of her life was Denton Stockton, her husband who predeceased her. Mom was a very talented artist and musician. She also had an adventurous and Risky spirit. Roselyn found beauty in nature, loved to garden and walk along the shores of the ocean. She made simple things beautiful and was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Roselyn never lost her wonderment and shared that with children. She is survived by her daughters and son, Margaret Ann Allen and husband, Dr. Phillip Allen of Atlanta, Georgia, Judith Lee Stockton, Jeanne Elizabeth Cross and husband, Dave Gardner Cross all of Bakersfield, Warren Denton Stockton of Meridian, Idaho and Kristin Ruth Stockton of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Kurt Allen, Cheryl Richardson, Paul Allen, Jennifer Sarah Stockton, Jacob Stockton, Nathan Stockton and Katelyn Stockton; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ida Beckwith and Grace Alm; brothers, Earl Wahl and Maurice Wahl and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff of Rosewood for their super care of Mom.
