Casimero Elias Leal

Casimero Elias Leal was born in Brackettville, Texas. His family moved to 
California on November 7, 1942 with father, Ricardo, mother, Trinidad and his 
siblings, Thomas (Papa Tom), Joe, Ofelia and Maria Guadelupe (Lupe). Mr. Leal 
graduated from Kern Union High School where he met his high school sweetheart, 
Martha Morin and had worked as a custom harvester for 40 years. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Leal on December 20, 2002. He was 
the proud father of his 4 sons and their wives, James and Teresa Leal, Billy 
and Nancy Leal, Dean and Kim Leal and Robert and Tina Leal, and 2 daughters 
and their husbands, Elizabeth (Lisa) and Ed Rodriguez and Katherine (Kathy) 
Leal, and 22 grandchildren, Alyssia, Chad, Austin, Emily, Evan, Sam, Seth, 
Leah, Jana, Elishia (Tish), Adam, Braden, Brooks, Efren (Bubu), Sophia, Elias, 
Ryan, Lean, Amanda, Jamie, Robby and Glenda.

Visitation will be today from 4-8 p.m. at Mish Funeral Home with the 
Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on 
Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church with Msgr. Stephen A. 
Frost officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
