Adene L. James passed away 6/21/2004 at home in Redding, CA. She was born in 
Bakersfield 8/13/1917 to Jean and Lea Galland. A graveside service will be 
held Tuesday, 6/29/2004, 10 a.m., at Union Cemetery. 

She is predeceased by husband Dale James; and son Robert and infant son 
Spencer. She is survived by a sister, Jeanette Collins (Oscar) of Bakersfield; 
a son, David Rhody (Carolyn) of Lewiston, CA; a stepson Michael Serino of 
Valencia, CA; a daughter Barbara Brand of Lewiston, CA; stepdaughter Cheryl 
Dula of Las Vegas, NV; foster daughter Kathleen Aldridge (Richard) of Durham, 
CA; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
