After a long and tenuous battle with Cancer. She was a pillar of strength to anyone who knew her. Her Family always came first but Her second love was Golf and she was the Secretary Treasurer for the Southern Pacific Golf Club for four years and was loved and respected by all who met her. She is survived by her wonderful husband, John, of 36 incredible years; son, Rocky of Bakersfield; daughter, Lori Westbrook and fiancé, Steven of Bakersfield; daughter, Stacy Crosley of Tennessee; and son, John David of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary and Zephan; brother, Wayne Perry and wife, Gayle; brother, Russell Perry and wife, Jaime all of Bakersfield; brother, Wesley Perry and wife, Sherry of Michigan. She is also survived by several adopted children, aunts, uncles, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and her very special companion Lady. All who knew her loved and respected her. Carol was many things throughout her lifetime: a homemaker, a interior decorator, a bookkeeper, a professional housekeeper, and a manager of a video store. No matter what she did, she did it with all her heart and soul. Most of all she was a wonderful wife, a great mother, a dear friend and the boss when she needed to be, but John wore the pants in the family because she let him. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. Mom, we know you are only a breath away. Viewing on Wednesday, June 30, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Mission Family Mortuary, 531 California Avenue. Graveside service will be Thursday, July 1, 10:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Panama & Hwy. 99. A reception will follow at the Hallum residence.
