William E. 'Bill'  James


Services: Wed. Dec. 29, 3:00 p.m. 

Services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., for 
William E. 'Bill' James, 76, who passed away at home early Christmas morning 
after a lengthy illness. 

Bill was born July 5, 1928, in Los Angeles to Wright E. James and Josephine 
Rush James. 

Bill attended local schools and graduated from KC class of 1946. He also 
attended Santa Monica City College and U.S.C. He was an avid reader and he 
continued to read and learn his entire life. He was a student of history and 
world affairs.

Bill loved animals of all kinds and especially his dog, Sparky, and his cats 
and yard birds.

Bill is survived by mother, Josephine James; children Lisa James, Bill Jr., 
Karen Yori and husband Dan, and two grandsons, Michael and Christopher Yori 
and by his wife and companion of 38 years, Lodema James and all our pets.

In lieu of flowers please mail donations in Bills memory to, Alpha Canine 
Sanctuary, P.O. Box 5517 or The Cat People or SPCA or charity of your choice.

No visitation is scheduled
