Jimmie Leroy Ferry
Oct. 5, 1929 Dec. 28, 2004

Jimmie Ferry was born in Alliance, Nebraska and passed away Dec. 28, 2004 with 
his family by his side. He served our country with the U.S. Navy and was an 
accountant for 53 years before his retirement. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Modean Ferry of 42 years and son, 
Darrell Ellison. Jimmie is survived by his wife, Geraldean Ferry; children, 
Richard Ferry and wife, Michelle, Charles Ferry and Jon Ellison; stepchildren, 
Desiree Benjamin, Brenda Grigsby, and Ronald and Kathleen Howard; sisters, 
Dorothy McNaughton and Dixie Holton; brother, Ed Ferry and wife, Joyce as well 
as nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild who called him Grandpa.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 31, 2004, 10:30 a.m. at 
Christ Cathedral, 2301 White Lane, Bakersfield, CA.

In memory of Jimmie Ferry, donations may be made to Optimal Hospice 
Foundation, P.O. Box 80538, Bakersfield, CA 93380-0538.
