Trinidad Castro Nunez

Graveside funeral services will be conducted by Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary 
on Monday, January 3, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., at Union Cemetery for Trinidad 
Castro Nunez, age 96, of Fresno who passed away December 23, 2004 in Fresno. 
Fr. Ricardo Magdaleno of St. Josephs Church will officiate and interment will 
follow. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 2, from 5 p.m. 8 p.m. at 
Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary, 620 Oregon, Bakersfield, California. 

Trinidad was born October 18, 1908 in Bakersfield to Louisiano and Susana 
(Corania) Castro. She attended Bakersfield schools and later married Steven 
Nunez who preceded her in death. Trinidad was one of the last surviving 
members of the Castro Pioneer Family who had a long and rich heritage in the 
Bakersfield area. Trinidad is survived by 2 nieces, Margaret North of 
Bakersfield and Lucia Harikian of Fresno.
