"Spud" Berry Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 5, 2005, 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park, for Ferrel Berry, 84, who passed away December 31, 2004. Spud, to family and friends was born in Marion, Indiana and has been a resident of Kern County for the past 58 years. He was a meat cutter for over 25 years. His true love was country music and his guitar and jamming with the boys. He was a charter member of the Bakersfield Country Music Club. Spud also enjoyed bowling. Spuds first wife, Dottie preceded him in death in 1978 and his second wife, Gracie in 1999. His survivors include sons, Ray and wife, Dottie Berry and Stephen and wife, Linda Berry; daughters, Brenda and husband, Mike Marriott and Susan and husband, Joseph Lovato, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 4th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Mish Funeral Home. Additional Comments: Volunteer submission - No relation to deceased.
