Funeral services for Julia Neva Wade will be held in the Basham Funeral Care 
Chapel on Wednesday morning, January 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Ken 
Armstrong will officiate. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. 

Julia was born October 28, 1945 in Bakersfield and she went home to be with 
the Lord on Friday, December 24, 2004 in Bakersfield.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy Wade; mother and stepfather, Julia and 
Marvin Jones; stepbrothers, Allen, Terry and Tommy Jones; numerous aunts, 
uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Julia loved cats. She would rescue any cat who needed a home and at any one 
time she would have as many as 15 to 20 cats. Her favorite was Smokey. She 
also enjoyed country music and dancing. She loved going to concerts especially 
Vince Gill. She was loved by all that knew her and will be deeply missed. For
