Littlejohn Jan. 6, 1914 Dec. 17, 2004 Elden was born on January 6, 1914 in Simla, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Littlejohn and his second wife of four years, Virginia Jones Littlejohn. Elden is survived by his sons, Gerald E. Littlejohn and wife, Betty of Bakersfield; daughter, Eldora A. Elmore and husband, Jim of Amarillo, Texas. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandson. Elden was in the Navy during WWII and owned his own auto body and paint shop in Porterville before moving to the Los Angeles area in 1951. He later retired from Chevron/Texaco. Elden was an active member in his church and had a hobby of collecting violins and other string instruments. Elden will be missed by everyone that knew him. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Parkview Julian Convalescent Hospital and to Hospice for their kindness. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 11:00 a.m.. on January 11, 2005 at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane, Bakersfield.
