Jimmy C. Bennett

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Janaury 12, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., at 
Hillcrest Memorial Chapel with visitation on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. for Jimmy 
Bennett who passed away on January 9, 2005. 

Jimmy was born January 18, 1941 in Porum, OK. He was an only child of Gladys 
Bennett. He moved to Bakersfield, CA as a young child. He graduated from 
Bakersfield High School and worked in the oil fields until 1989. At that time 
he and his wife started Kangarooter Plumbing & Septic until his son, Chuck 
Bennett took over the business. At that time he and his son worked side by 
side until his illness.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Bennett. He is survived by his 
wife, Laura Bennett; his children, Chuck Bennett, Carrie Tishma and Shannon 
Bennett; his stepchildren, Tina Moreno, Kari Chavez, Billy Williford, Stephen 
Williford, Brandi Williford, Russell Williford; his grandchildren, Jimmy, 
Morgan and Brock Bennett, Dennis Brown, along with 16 stepgrandchildren.

Most important Jim was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather who 
enjoyed camping and motorcycle riding and most of all spending time with his 
family. He will be greatly missed. Thank you to all friends and family who 
have been there with your thoughts and prayers through his illness.
