Stanley H. Palmer
1918 - 2005

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 12th at 11:00 a.m. in 
Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., for Stanley H. Palmer, 86, of 
Bakersfield, who passed away January 9, 2005, at his home. 

Mr. Palmer was born April 30, 1918, in Bakersfield, and had resided here all 
of his life.

He learned floor covering skills from his father. He owned and operated his 
own floor covering business for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Velda, who passed away June 
2003; two grandsons, Doug Austin and Gregg Flores. Survivors include his two 
daughters and sons-in-law, Cherrie and Tino Flores, and Janice and Ron Austin; 
two grandsons, Tony Flores an his wife, Geanie and Kevin Austin; three great-
granddaughters, Tonya Flores, Alex and Kasey Austin and one brother, Milton 
Palmer.

They will miss his sense of humor and his wonderful vegetable garden.

No visitation is scheduled.
