Frank Paul Wood
Services: Jan. 18, 2005 at 1 p.m.

Frank Paul Wood of Bakersfield, CA passed away January 11, 2005. He was born 
in Cadnasso, CA on August 10, 1924 to Elmer and Margaret Wood. Paul was 
married to Jeanne Dye on November 27, 1965 in Bakersfield. Paul was the owner 
of Paul Wood Electric and had been a contractor since 1955. Through his life 
Paul enjoyed many different sporting activities including golf, snow skiing, 
bowling, and water skiing. He was a charter member of the Bakersfield Ski Club 
and bowled the very first sanctioned 300 game at Westchester Bowl. He loved 
his Friday nights at Mexicali and weekends on his houseboat water skiing with 
his family and friends. 

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Wood; sons, Jim Wood and wife Carol, Bob 
Wood and wife Glynis; daughters, Sheri Muir and husband Tom, Susan Clerou and 
husband John; brother, Maurice and wife Peggy; nephew, Phillip Wood and wife 
Linda; niece, Carol Grein; grandchildren, Todd, Elyce, Jennifer, Trisha, and 
Brandon; great grandchildren, Cassie and Evan. He is preceded in death by his 
parents and son, Doug Dye who passed away in 1997. 

Paul was a very kind, generous and loving husband, father and friend. He was 
loved and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary Monday, January 17, 
2005 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 
2005 at Hopson-Anspach and interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetary.
