Earl leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Irma (Mima), daughter, Annabella; son, Robert and daughter-in-law, Berenice; granddaughter, Victoria; sisters, Hallie Haworth and Nell Tibbets. Earl was born in Abilene, Texas November 10, 1933 to Reuben and Aileen Stagner. Earl was raised in Stamford, Texas where he developed a love for classical music and tennis. Earl studied piano in college and played tennis competitively. He went on to serve his country in the US Army and the Reserves as a Radio Operator. During his service he was able to continue with tennis winning many awards. Earl and Irma then settled in Los Angeles, CA where Earl became a private tennis pro to the stars. This launched him into opening his own tennis shop that he managed for many years. In his retirement, Earl had several entrepreneurial enterprises, most notably managing his own printer repair business. Earl will be remembered for his love and laughter, which he shared with all who encountered him. A Rosary will be held Thursday, January 20th from 6-8 p.m. at the Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary Chapel, 23287 N. Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321. Services will be held Friday, January 21st from 11 a.m. 12 p.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Parish Church, 19606 Calla Way, Santa Clarita, CA, 91351 Additional Comments: Volunteer submission - No relation to deceased.
