Seger Dec. 28, 1927 - Jan. 21, 2005 Leonard was born in Taft, CA, in 1927. His family moved to Wasco, CA, where he attended school. He was very active in all athletics during his junior and high school years. After graduating from high school, he entered the service and served in Japan as an M.P. Upon his return, he was employed by Standard Oil of California and worked there until he retired as a construction foreman in 1986. Leonard loved all outdoor activities including boating, water skiing, his motorcycles, hunting, and fishing, and spent many vacation days in the back country of our local mountains. He also enjoyed traveling with Florence in their motor home with their other RV friends. He was a long time member of the Chevron Retirees, Chevron Retiree RV Group, and a former Elk. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Vernon. Leonard is survived by his wife of 52 years, Florence; son, Mathew Seger; daughter, Sherry Johnson, son-in-law, Rodney Johnson; grandchildren, Jennifer and Darren Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Bill and Lilous Morganson, all of Bakersfield, CA; brother, Larry Seger of Santa Paula, CA; and cousin, Ella in Taft, CA.
