Gabriel C. Delcid
July 29, 1934 - January 17, 2005

Recitation of the Rosary will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River 
Blvd., Sunday, January 23, at 7 p.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will be held 
at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 1515 Baker St., Monday, January 24, at 10 a.m. 
for Gabriel C. Delcid, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 17, 
2005, after struggling with diabetes for the past few years. Interment will 
follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. 

Mr. Delcid retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1997, after 
completing 41 years of service. He was a Yucaipa resident for the past 31 
years, actively participating in the Yucaipa Little League, and Jr. All 
American Football League. His final years were made more comfortable by his 
good friend and care giver, Mary Myers.

Mr. Delcid was preceded in death by his parents, Cedio and Leocadia Delcid. He 
is survived by his sons, Michael and Gabriel; daughters, Debra, Rebecca, and 
Tandy; his surviving former wife, Caryl Delcid. He leaves to cherish his 
memory, 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He leaves behind two 
brothers and one sister, Frank Delcid of Tehachapi, CA, Gilbert Delcid of Los 
Osos, CA, and Lucy Ford of Garden Grove, CA.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Diabetes for Children, Loma 
Linda Childrens Hospital, ATTN: Debbie Saknit, PO Box 2000, Loma Linda, CA, 
92354.

Visitation begins today, Sunday, 12 7 p.m.
