Charlette Martina Hopkings
June 24, 1981 - January 16, 2005

Visitation for Charlette Martina Hopkings will be held at Basham Funeral Care 
(3312 Niles Street) on Tuesday evening, January 25, 2005, from 5 8 p.m. and an 
Hour of Mediation will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening in the Basham 
Funeral Care Chapel. 

Funeral services will be held at St. John Missionary Baptist Church (1300 E. 
Brundage Lane) on Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at 11 a.m. Reverend Carol 
English will officiate. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.

Charlette Hopkings was born June 24, 1981 in Bakersfield, California and 
passed away on January 16, 2005, in Bakersfield. Charlette leaves to cherish 
her memory, her father, Mark Anthony Hopkings and Anita Parker of Fresno, CA; 
mother, Katrina Sims and Matthew Collins of Bakersfield; brothers and sisters, 
Melody Hopkings, Nakita Brown, Marqueta Hopkings, Precious Hopkings, Nate 
Jones, Chigy Jones, Glenn Hunter, Katrina Hunter, and Champ Collins; Special 
Aunt, Camilla Ward; 4 nieces and 4 nephews; and a host of other family 
members. She will also be missed by her special friends, Melody Marks, 
Adrienne Cetha Thomas, Bambi Banner, Tyrone Johnson, and Pookie.

Charlette was an outgoing and fun loving young woman who enjoyed music, 
dancing, and shopping. She loved spending time with her family and friends. 
She was loved by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed.
