Magic Gene Mathis
June 10, 1941 - January 22, 2005

Visitation for Magic Gene Mathis will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 
Niles St.) on Thursday, January 27, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. and graveside services 
will be held on Friday, January 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery 
(River Blvd.) Mr. Jim Collier of Highland Church of Christ will officiate. 

Gene was born in Bakersfield on June 10, 1941 and he was called home to the 
Lord on January 22, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Pat; son, Raymond and 
his wife, Tammy; daughter, Lacy and her husband, Rob; grandchildren, Ashley, 
Kelsey, Dylan and Jack; siblings, Lucille, Doris, Alice, James and their 
spouses all of Bakersfield.

Gene lived life to the fullest and now he can wheel & deal among the best of 
them. He was loved very much and he will be dearly missed. For additional
