Kathleen Ann Donovan
Sept. 27, 1970 - Jan. 19, 2005

Kathleen Katie Ann Donovan, born September 27, 1970, in Bakersfield, CA, 
departed this life on January 19, 2005 due to a tragic motor vehicle accident. 
Katie was a 1988 graduate of Garces Memorial high School. She continued her 
education, receiving her Degree in Journalism at the University of Georgia and 
her Masters Degree at Pratt University in New York City. Katie most recently 
resided in Ventura, CA and was employed as Development Director for the 
Environmental Defense Agency in Santa Barbara, CA. 

Katie, the youngest of four children, is survived by her loving mother, 
Constance F. Donovan; her grandmother, Margaret White; sister, Peggy and her 
husband, Eric Verheul; their three children, Sarah, Meghan, and Matthew; 
brother, Steve Donovan; sister, Lisa Donovan and her daughter, Megan. She is 
also survived by the love of her life, Joe Martinelli and many friends and 
relatives. She will be truly missed.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, January 29, 2005, 10:30 a.m., at 
Greenlawn Memorial Chapel (3700 River Blvd.).
