"Buck" Horn Feb. 25, 1921 - Jan. 25, 2005 A celebration of life will be held for Buck Saturday, January 29th at the Stockdale Moose Lodge, 905 Stine Road at 11:00 a.m. Buck was born in Buckner, Missouri and was raised on the family farm land. He married his sweetheart, Thelma Carter before leaving for the European Theater and Battle of the Bulge. Upon his return, he became a journeyman electrician and the foreman on many jobs including Edwards Air Force Base and Diablo Canyon Power Plant. Buck also operated Horns Trenching Service for ten years until his retirement. Buck loved to hunt, fish and play golf. He and Thelma traveled across the United States finding new friends and fishing holes. He never knew a stranger and was a good friend to anyone who needed help. You could always depend on him for a joke, a drink, and a great story. He was blessed with a loving wife, Thelma; his son, Larry and wife, Judi; daughter, Linda and Dennis Patrick; grandsons, Travis Horn, John Horn and his wife, Kim. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the local American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Additional Comments: Volunteer submission - No relation to deceased.
