Howard F. Clifford was born on December 18, 1927, in Custer, South Dakota and 
passed away June 30, 2004, in Bakersfield. 

Howard has lived in Kern County for over 45 years and spent all of that time 
as a truck driver with Schwebel Petroleum being his last employment. He was a 
loving husband, father and grand-father, loved being a truck driver, riding 
and working on motorcycles and his trips to Las Vegas.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Everett and 
Walt. Survivors are his loving wife of 40 years, Audrey Clifford; sons, 
Kenneth and Doug Clifford; sisters, Bessie and Edith; and grandchildren 
Joseph, Kassandra and Troy.

He will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., at 
Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday, July 3, from 1 to 5 
p.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary.
