Oct. 21, 1927 - Jan. 29, 2005

Visitation for Dorothy Mae Britz, 77, will be held at Basham Funeral Care 
(3312 Niles St.) on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. and funeral 
services will be held in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel on Wednesday, February 
2, 2005 at 11:00 a.m.. and interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. 

Dorothy "Dottie" Britz passed away on January 29, 2005. She was born in 
Bellflower, CA on October 21, 1927 and she married Louie Britz on January 5, 
1946. Dottie never met a stranger. She loved both people and animals. In her 
younger years she was a nanny and a healthcare worker. She enjoyed doing 
volunteer work for the blind and any other place where she was needed, with 
her friend, Delpha Nichols. Dottie also loved going to the mountains in 
Greenhorn and riding three-wheelers at Pismo Beach.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Louie; four children, daughter, 
Sherry Montoya; daughter, Gale Savage and fiancé, Jay Henderson; son, Mick 
Britz and daughter-in-law, Lanette; son, Terry Britz and daughter-in-law, 
Sandy; six grandchildren, Richie Montoya and wife, Candy, Darren Savage and 
wife, Kim, Trina Montoya, Monique Brown and husband, Darin, Justin Britz and 
wife, Carol and Travis Britz; eight great-grandchildren, Shanda, Brittany, 
Raven, Brent, Christopher, Marina, Hannah and Jasmine; brother, Tom Humecky 
and wife, Carol; brother, Ray Humecky and wife, Marion; sister, Jo Glover and 
husband, Gary and sister, Helen Bernard. For additional service or floral
