Father Chummar Chirayath will officiate, and burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park on River Blvd. Mary Louise Saldana was born on April 27, 1923, in San Angelo, Texas. She married Macedonio Saldana in October 1955. Mary Lou was an avid lover of crafts. She enjoyed with a passion vocal music and sang frequently at home and with the Holy Spirit choir. She cooked with love and shared many meals, especially her tamales. Her door was always open to those in need and she had a spirit that filled many hearts. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Josephina Herrera; brother, Martin Herrera; daughter, Josephina; and son, Pete. She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Mace; sons, Mark Herrera, Oscar and wife, Kasie and Ricardo; daughter-in-law, Diane Saldana; grandchildren, Michelle Reed, Danielle Herrera, Phillip, Jacqueline and Eric Saldana, Baylie and Adrianna; great-grandchildren, Marc and Matthew; sisters, Macardia Collado, Marie De La Luz Hernandez of Stockton, CA, Felisiana Almarez and husband, Julian of Ridgecrest, CA; brothers, Pete and Ray Herrera and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the family and friends for the support and prayers you have given our family. We have been very blessed to have Mary Lou, Mom, Grandma Lou in our lives and we will miss her greatly. May she sing with the Angels to her hearts content. We love you Mom!
