Mila N. de Laveaga
1910 - 2005

Mila N. de Laveaga was born September 25, 1910 in Centerville, CA and passed 
away on January 29, 2005 in Bakersfield, California. 

She was a native of Northern California and had lived in Bakersfield since 
1932. Mila was a Librarian with the Kern County Library from 1932 until her 
retirement in 1971.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel de Laveaga, who had been a 
Petroleum Geologist in Bakersfield since 1933. Survivors include a sister-in-
law, Alysone de Laveaga and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Friends of the Kern County 
Library, P.O. Box 2622, Bakersfield, CA 93303.
