He was born June 6, 1949 in Houston, Texas. Bob was a graduate of North high and attended Bakersfield College. He was a U.S. vet on the USS Constitution during Vietnam. Bob was a Hydraulic Mechanic at Hydraulic Controls in Yuba City. Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Mercedes Davis of Yuba City; mother, Doris Davis of Bakersfield; son, Bob L. Davis of Von Ormy, TX; daughter, Connie Zonneveld of Reno, NV; stepchildren, Veronica Ward of Reno, NV, Kimberly Berry of Reno, NV and Yolanda Kelly of Marana, AZ; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Kenny Davis of Bakersfield and Fred Davis of Visalia. He was preceded in death by his father, Milledge Davis. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 4, 2:00 p.m., at Crossroad Community Church, Yuba City.
