Edna Jean Bowen was born on October 26, 1928 in Opal, Arkansas to Boss and Pocahontas Morris. She left our world to join her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 3, 2005 at home with her family by her side. She was reunited with her parents; sisters, Frankie, Mildred, Cecil, and her brothers, Wade and Wallace Morris and her son, Travis Wayne who passed away at six weeks old. Mom worked for twenty years at Cal Almond where she had many friends and memories. She truly enjoyed the picnics and Christmas parties that the company put on. Edna leaves behind her sons, Keith and his wife, Anna, Roger and one daughter, Brenda and Sid, who were her primary caregivers the last two years of her life. She had 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Mom loved all of her great-grandchildren, but her pride and joy was Draven. They spent many hours with each other. Draven loved to pull on her oxygen tubing while mom was holding onto it so her nose and ears wouldnt be pulled off. Mom was the last of her immediate family, and she also leaves behind nieces and nephews that live in Arkansas, Oregon and Texas. She will be missed by her dog, TuTu. Mom was the solid rock in our family, walking us through all of our trials and tribulation that life dealt to us. She will be missed and forever in our hearts and mind. Moms huckleberries will be Sid Sutton and her grandchildren. Additional Comments: Volunteer submission - No relation to deceased.
