Angelina "Angie" Bertano
Services: Tues., Feb. 8, 9:30 a.m. 

Angelina Bertano, 86, passed away on February 3, 2005. A Mass of Christian 
Burial will be celebrated at St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church on 
Tuesday, February 8, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Msgr. Ronald J. Swett will 
officiate. Interment will be held at the Italian Cemetery in Colma, California.

Angie was born February 15, 1918, in San Francisco, the daughter of Guido and 
Anita Ghiselli. In 1946 she met John Bertano of Bakesfield who preceded her in 
death in 2001. 

Angie was a loving, giving woman who will be remembered for her warm 
hospitality. She was a faithful member of St. Philip The Apostle Church and an 
active participant in the Legion of Mary, the St. Philips Womans Club and 
Italian Catholic Federation.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; two children, Gary and Donna; 
her parents; and brother, Guido Ghiselli, Jr. She is survived by numerous 
cousins.

Angie will be forever remembered in the minds and hearts of her family and 
friends for her thoughtfulness and caring.

In lieu of flowers please make donations in Angies name to St. Philip The 
Apostle Church, 7100 Stockdale Hwy., Bakersfield, CA 93309.

Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
