John was born November 25, 1916 to John and Florence MacDonald in Detroit, Michigan. Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2005, at St. Francis Church. Father Ralph Belluomini will officiate. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery. John was married to Elinor Dustin in Detroit in 1947. During WWII he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and he was a member of the National Guard in Michigan. He was employed as an Industrial Salesman for over 55 years and he was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. His hobbies included golfing, carpentry and politics. In addition he enjoyed music; when he was younger he played trumpet for a musical group called The Sophisticats. John is preceded in death by his parents and his twin sister, Janet. He is survived by his sons, James, Bill and John; daughters, Mary, Cathy, Laurie and Joyce; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
