Our Dad, Manuel de Jesus Granillo, passed away on February 2, 2005 surrounded 
by his children and grandchildren. 

Dad was born on October 9, 1924 in Sugar City, Idaho to Gumisindo and 
Guadalupe Granillo. In 1925, the family moved to California. Dad joined the 
Army and served his country during World War II. Upon return, he worked for 
Kern Ice and Cold Storage until his retirement.

Dad is preceded in death by his mother, Guadalupe; father, Gumisindo; 
daughter, Rebecca Valladares; brother, Gilbert Granillo; sisters, Petra Jasso 
and Cecilia Molina.

Dad is survived by his son, Manuel Jr. and wife, Eudena; son, Joe and wife, 
Marcy; daughter, Arlene and husband, Greg Payan; daughter, Ruth Berg; son, 
Edward and wife, Lucille; son, John and wife, Irma; daughter, Margie and 
husband, Adolfo; daughter, Sarai and husband, Dennis Moore; son, Ricardo; 21 
grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. He was also survived by sisters, 
Esther Santa Cruz and Rachel Martinez; brothers, Paul and Lupe Granillo.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Joe Granillo Jr., Christopher Granillo, Greg 
Payan, Arthur Granillo, Timothy Granillo and David Granillo.

Services will be held in the Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel on February 7, 2005, at 
10:00 a.m.
