Larry leaves his loving and devoted wife, Maggie of 23 years of Happiness. Larry was born and raised in Bakersfield. He attended Standard School in Oildale, and North High School. After high school, he was in the Navy. Larry worked for a trucking company in Canada. He loved to drive the Big Rig. He was driving the Big Rig when he had a stroke, which developed into years of complications and suffering and pain. Larry and Maggie belonged to the Fellowship Baptist Church in Cobourg. He loved the church and the fellowship he found there. Larry will be missed by all who knew him, and his family who loved him: Dad and Mom, Frank and Rusty Abbott, Bakersfield; sister, Bunny and husband Danny Allen of Shafter and niece, Holly Phillips. There will be no more tears, no more pain. Larry is with our Lord Jesus. Until we meet again, in Heaven, Larry. We Love You.
