Gertrude K. Beene

Our loving Mother, Gertrude Beene, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home 
on February 1, 2005, at the age of 94. 

Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Beene; granddaughter, 
Pamela Dominguez and grandson, Eric Beene. She is survived by her 4 children, 
Retha DeLois Scott (Frank) of Cherry Valley, CA, Dewey June Williams of 
Bakersfield, Frank D. Beene (LaWanda) of Bakersfield and Leon Beene (Holly) of 
Phoenix, AZ; 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-
grandchildren.

Chapel services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2005, at 12:00 noon, at 
Hillcrest Memorial Chapel, 9101 Kern Canyon Road. Viewing will be held between 
9-11 a.m. prior to chapel service. Pastor Milt Cole will officiate.
