Ollague July 22, 1937 - February 3, 2005 Chapel services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Ln., Tuesday, February 8, 2005, at 3 p.m. for Maria Magdalena Ollague. Chaplain, Luis Bustillo will officiate. Maria Magdalena Olague passed away on February 3, 2005. She was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on July 22, 1937. As a young woman she worked as a legal secretary for the Ecuadorian Government before going to New York to begin a new life. She lived in Bakersfield, California for the last five months of her life. As a cancer and heart attack survivor, she was known to everyone as a fighter. She raised two children, as a single parent, with love and affection. The thrill of visiting the local casinos was what she enjoyed doing, even up to the last days of her life. We will miss her so much. May God be with her. Te Amo Mi Amor. Survivors include her son, Cesar Ollague of Bakersfield; daughter, Lori Sobbe of Visalia, California; four grandchildren; sisters, Josefa Moran, Lucia Lucas, and Maruja Valencia; and special friend, Chris Sobbe.
