William Algernon Marston
June 22, 1938 - February 7, 2005 

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 
Panama Lane and Hwy. 99, Thursday, February 10, 1:00 p.m. for William Marston, 
66, who passed away on February 7, 2005, in Bakersfield, after a lengthy 
illness.

William was born on June 22, 1938, in Bakersfield. He graduated from North 
High School in Bakersfield and attended U C Santa Barbara. He was a U.S. 
Marine veteran serving during the Korean War.

In 1972, he moved his family to Grover Beach, CA. William and his beloved wife 
lived there until 1999. During that time he was a member of St. Johns Lutheran 
Church. He also was a volunteer gun safety instructor for the California Fish 
and Game for 13 years. He was a member of the Arroyo Grande Sportsman Club and 
helped coach baseball with Five Cities Little League.

William and his wife, Judy, recently celebrated 40 years of marriage. He was a 
loving father, husband and proud grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Judy 
Marston of Bakersfield; son, William Marston IV of Los Angeles; grandson, 
William Marston V. He is also survived by his brother, Glen Marston of 
Bakersfield and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Mary Conner.
