Jerry Roper
Services: Thurs., Feb. 10, 10 a.m.

Jerry Roper was born March 28, 1941 to Florence and Norville Roper. Jerry 
entered the United States Army out of high school. Including National Guard 
and Army Reserve he served for 26 years. Jerry was employed by Kern County for 
25 years, 20 years with the Sheriffs Department. 

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jack. He leaves 
his wife of 33 years, Sandy; his daughter, Christina and his son, Michael.

The family would like to thank the staff of CBCC and 3rd floor staff of Mercy 
Hospital.

Viewing begins Wednesday, February 9th, 4-7 p.m. at Hillcrest with graveside 
services being held Thursday, February 10, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest 
Cemetery.
