Louella Robinson entered life as an inheritance from God to the union of T.C. Robinson and Ethel Robinson on December 1, 1930 in Magnolia, Mississippi. She attended Richards School and received her formal education in Pike County, Mississippi. She made the most important step the day she accepted Christ as her Savior. She was baptized under Pastor William Levi at St. Marys C.O.G.I.C. and received the gift of the Holy Ghost at an early age. She was a Church Treasurer. She always hid the word of God in her heart and avoided sin against God. She was an ideal Christian. She married Alpha Omega Stewart, Sr. on March 8, 1947. To this union 9 children were born. In 1962, she left Mississippi with her husband and children to California to seek better opportunities for her family. She was very industrious and started her own business, Lous Bar B Que. Her business was a success for 17 years. She fed many people who could not afford to pay for a meal. She was popularly known as Mama LOU. She was a mentor to all the young people who entered her restaurant and home. Our Mom wants to thank her son-in-law, Harvey Rogers for all the special love and care given to her; and for this Harvey I love you as if you were my own son, and also my son-in-law, Patrick Mbaba. The family would like to thank all the neighbors, family and special friends (Esterlene Lloyd and Beany Sellers) for all the love shown to our mother. Special thanks to her physician, Dr. Bear. Two children preceded her in death, Robert Louis Stewart and Beverly Diana Stewart and one brother, Obi Weatherspoon. I encourage my family and others to celebrate the memory of my living: my husband of 57 years, Alpha Omega Stewart, Sr.; my 4 sons and their wives: Truman and Ursula; Alpha Omega Jr. and Voncile; Tamas Ray and Linda; Michael and Annette; my 3 daughters and their husbands: Shirley Blank; Northy L. Mbaba and Patrick; Debra Rogers and Harvey; my 33 grandchildren and 41 great- grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
