Michael Gene Ramos
Dec. 5, 1942 - Feb. 9, 2005

Michael Gene Ramos was born December 5, 1942 in Alameda, CA to Michael H. and 
Mary S. Ramos, and passed away February 9, 2005 in Bakersfield, CA after a 
long and courageous battle with cancer. 

Mike was raised in El Centro, CA where he attended school and graduated from 
El Centro Union High School in 1960. He attended the University of Arizona 
then began a successful career as an insurance adjuster, lastly as a partner 
in Ronald Bolt Associates in Bakersfield where he made his home for over 30 
years.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Michael H. Ramos and father-in-law, 
Joseph T. Nighbert and is survived by his wife, Margie J. (Marjo) Ramos; 
mother, Mary S. Ramos both of Bakersfield; son, Scott Ramos, wife Sherry of 
Yellville, AR; daughter Tracy Hallen, husband Andy of Cincinnati, OH; sister, 
Yvonne and Dr. Richard Leone of Gig Harbor, WA; sister Francie Cooper of Fort 
Worth, TX; stepsons, Scott Bennitt; Todd Bennitt, wife Kelly; Chad Bennitt, 
wife Kim; 16 grandchildren; mother-in-law Marjorie Nighbert; brother-in-law 
Ted Nighbert, wife Donna, all of Bakersfield. Also surviving are several 
aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mike will be deeply missed by not only his family but his many close friends 
and his Riverlakes golf buddies. In keeping with Mikes wishes no services will 
be held and in lieu of flowers he would like donations be made to the American 
Cancer Society or charity of choice in his honor.
