Services: Mon., Feb. 14, 9:00 a.m.

Rosary services will be said Monday, February 14, 2005, 9:00 a.m., prior to 
Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 10th & H 
Streets. Burial will follow in Greenlawn (River Boulevard) Cemetery. 

Our family of Angels in Heaven grew larger by one on February 8, 2005. Alicia 
Marie Weston Cardwell was born on April 5, 1950 in Bakersfield, CA and lived 
here most of her life. She worked mostly as a receptionist. She had a passion 
for reading not only for herself, but also to her grandchildren. She was also 
an accomplished writer, and wrote short stories for her children and 
grandchildren. She inherited the gift of gab from her great-grandmother Weston 
they both loved to talk. She had a passion for cooking and gardening. We will 
all miss her big heart. She had a smile as big as all outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Les Cardwell and mother and father, 
Todd and Juliana Weston. She is survived by her sons, Brian Bertolaccini and 
his wife, Jeannie, Mark Shockley; daughter, Brigette Hamblet and her husband, 
Steve; granddaughters, Brianna and Alexa Bertolaccini, Juliana Hamblet; 
grandsons, Peter Hamblet and Mason Bertolaccini; sister, Kathy Weston; 
brother, Jeff Weston and numerous relatives throughout the country.

Visitation will be held Saturday & Sunday, February 12th and 13th from 9 a.m. 
to 5 p.m., in Mission Family Mortuary, 531 California Ave., Bakersfield, 
California.
