Sharon was born in Richmond, California, on March 18, 1942, to Joseph B. King II and Olive Rothery King and was raised along with her brother, Joe in Bakersfield, California. It was there she later met Sanford 'Sandy' H. Bosworth and they married in 1963. They moved to the San Francisco Bay area where they raised their three children. Sharons most beloved hobby was needlepoint, which allowed her the opportunity to meet and cherish many close friends over the years. She was a member of numerous needlepoint groups and guilds. She made life long friends with ease and was very proud of, and devoted to, her family. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Joseph B. King, II; mother, Olive I. King; brother, Joseph B. King, III; and her in-laws, Harold M. and Marguerite Robinett Bosworth. She is survived by her daughters, Shellee Littledyke and Susan Bosworth; son, Joseph K. Bosworth; 5 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; Sanford and Nancy Bosworth; and Diane Sandidge and family. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 15, at Cloverdale Funeral Home in Boise, Idaho. An additional memorial service was held on January 30, at Kristinas Café in La Quinta, California. Inurnment was held on January 31, at Hillcrest Memorial in Bakersfield. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
