Baby K was our special angel sent by God, and was the best gift we could wish for. He has touched so many people in the short time he was here. The reason he was brought to Earth was clear from the beginning. God sent this little angel to us in hopes of changing all our lives for the better. He was a wonderful role model for our family, and he made an impression on everyone who met him. He was helpful, loving, affectionate, and always beaming with joy. He handled the most difficult and painful situations with grace and dignity. Kenyon Jeffrey Sills was born on March 30, 2000 in Bakersfield, CA. He passed away at his home in the early morning hours of June 30 with his mother and father beside him. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenyon C. and Eileen Sills, and his uncle, Jeffrey M. Sills. He is survived by his great- grandmother, Mary Gregorio; his grandparents, William and Lila Monje; his parents, Kenyon and Janette Sills; his devoted sister, Alle; his devoted brothers, Nick, Sam and Joey Salvucci; his uncle, Richard Monje; his uncle and aunt; as well as godparents, Dale and Susan Taylor; his aunt, Susie Sills- Huston; his aunt, Carol Monje; his aunt, Stacy Sills; his cousins, Matthew, Jordan and Michael Taylor, Christopher and Ryan Huston, Darci DeArmon; numerous second cousins and very close friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Madhu Bhogal and her entire office for their love and care of Kenyon; Dr. Jorge Lazareff, Dr. Andy Madikian, and all the neurosurgeon teams, oncology teams, and ICU staff and nurses, as well as the entire third floor staff at Mattel Childrens Hospital at UCLA Westwood. They are a second family to us and we love them. There were so many people who loved our Baby K, and we are truly blessed to have had their support and love along the way. Thank you all!
