A World War II Veteran 

Visitation for Wilbert Heitzenroder will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 
Niles Street) on Thursday evening February 17, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. and a 
graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery on Friday 
morning February 18, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Tom Cooley of Praise Tabernacle 
will officiate.

Wilbert Heitzenroder was born in Key Port, New Jersey and he passed away in 
Bakersfield, California with his family by his side. Wilbert served 4 years in 
the U.S. Army during World War II. He enjoyed watching sports especially 
baseball. Wilbert was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Clara Janet 
Heitzenroder; three brothers and 4 sisters and he is survived by his son and 
daughter-in-law, John and Sue Heitzenroder; 2 grandchildren, John Jay and 
Donna Sue Heitzenroder; 6 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; and numerous other 
relatives and friends. He was loved by all that knew him and will be deeply
