Robert Lee Burdge
Services: Friday, Feb. 18, 1:30 p.m.

Services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Ln., 
Friday, February 18 at 1:30 p.m., for Robert Lee Burdge, 73, who passed away 
February 11, 2005 in Loma Linda. Pastor Randy Billings will officiate. 

Robert Lee Burdge, born in Illinois, on December 8, 1931 and resided in 
Barstow, CA for ten years. He served in the U.S. Army for four years. Robert 
lived in Bakersfield for over 50 years. He retired from Bakersfield City 
Schools after 28 years, then moved to Barstow and worked as a volunteer for 
the Retired Service Volunteer Patrol for 2 years with the Barstow Police Dept.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Belle Burdge; and 
grandson, Justin Thomas. He is survived by his children, Robert Paul Burdge, 
Diana Burdge-Hyles, Garland Wayne Stafford, Matthew Camenisch, Emma Nordin, 
Patricia J. Stafford-Rosen, Ramona Barrett; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-
grandchildren; sisters, Marian Johnson, Judy Burdge, and Sharon McLeary; and 
brothers, Jim Burdge, Gary Allen and Billy Allen.

Visitation will be held Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
