"Bill" Leonard Services: Friday, Feb. 18, 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., for William L. "Bill" Leonard, 71, who passed away February 12, 2005, in Fresno, CA. Bill was born on March 15, 1933, in Broken Bow, Nebraska and resided in Fresno County for 31 years. He worked for Pacific Bell for 31 years as a Switching Manager. Bill was a member of The Telephone Pioneers, a Pac Bell Retirees Club. Bill liked to go camping and traveled both domestically and internationally. He was a big do-it-yourselfer, he never liked to hire anybody to do what he could do himself. Bill was a graduate of Shafter High School class of 1950. Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joan Leonard of Fresno, CA; son, David Leonard of San Diego, CA; daughters, Diane Leonard of Fresno and Teresa Leonard of Newhall, CA; brothers, Fred Leonard of Willows, CA, and Kenneth Leonard of OK; niece, Wanda Jean Willman of Colorado and nephew Leonard Pflaster of Bakersfield.
