Campbell Services: Fri., Feb. 18, 2 p.m. Betty L. Campbell, 67, a previous long-term resident of Lamont, California passed away Saturday, February 12, 2005, at her home in Reeds Spring, Missouri. Betty was born October 22, 1937 in Patton, Missouri to Reverend Lester and Anna Burgess. She married Reverend Boots Campbell on August 9, 1958 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were married for 46 wonderful years. Betty was a humble servant of God who was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Reverend Boots Campbell of Reeds Spring, Missouri; her three children and their spouses, Dianna and James Hart of Bakersfield, CA, Donna and Martin Hensley of Brookings, Oregon, Reverend Bruce and Angela Campbell of Shelburn, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Jennifer and Alexandra Hart of Bakersfield, California, Kristina, Kimberly, and Christopher Hensley of Brookings, Oregon, Elizabeth and Bryan Campbell of Shelburn, Indiana; a sister, Shirley Burgess of Reeds Spring, Missouri; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Reverend Jack and Vesta Burgess of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Reverend Dennis and Patty Burgess of Pierre, South Dakota; two brothers-in-law, Lynn Campbell of Henryetta, Oklahoma and Reverend Dearl Dawson of Greenfield, California and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 17, 2005 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Kern River Family Mortuary Chapel, 1900 North Chester Ave., Bakersfield, California. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2005, at the Arvin District Cemetery, Arvin, California, with Reverend Bruce Campbell and Reverend Dearl Dawson officiating.
