Daniel Melendrez Castellon, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., with 
the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m., at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary, 
Bakersfield. The Mass of the Christian Burial will be said at 9:00 a.m., on 
Friday, July 9, 2004, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Burial will follow 
at Greenlawn Cemetery, River Blvd. 

Daniel Castellon, Sr., passed away on July 5, 2004. He was born on September 
17, 1955, in Fresno to Romulo and Santos Castellon. He was raised in 
Bakersfield and graduated from Bakersfield High School. He was a professional 
truck driver most of his life and was last employed by Western Farm Service.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, his sister, Rosa and a brother, 
Martin. Those surviving him include his mother, Santos; his sons, Daniel Jr., 
Anthony, Nicholas and Patrick; grandchildren, Chelsea and Nichole; siblings, 
Ted, Julia and Elena of Texas, Modesto, Olivia and Margarita of New Mexico, 
Lolly of Nebraska, Francisca of San Bernardino, Florentino of Sacramento, Lupe 
of Buttonwillow, Leandro, Sal, Henry, Luis, Tommy, Albert and Mary of 
Bakersfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
