Charles was born November 21, 1943 in Carlsbad, New Mexico and he passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 in Bakersfield, California with his family by his side. Charles is preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles and Imalou Rose and he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Connie Rose; sons, Chris, Stacy and Timothy Rose; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Catherine Rose; sister, Doris Fulmer; special sisters-in-law, Vicenta and Carmen; special best friend, Chris Perminta and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Charles came to Bakersfield as a young boy, attending Beardsley, Jr. High School in Oildale. He met the love of his life, Connie Barreras, while in Gilroy, CA and they married September 13, 1966. They returned to Bakersfield where they raised their 4 sons. Charles was a big Elvis Presley fan. He enjoyed watching baseball but only if the Yankees were playing. He loved the Yankees. Charles was a loving and caring husband, father and friend to everyone he met. He treated everyone as though they were family. He loved his sons and there wasnt anything that he wouldnt do for them. He was always willing to help others at a time of need. He was loved by all that knew him and will be deeply missed.
