Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 8, 2004, at Greenlawn, 3700 River Blvd., at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 7, at Mission Funeral Home, 531 California Ave. from 9 a.m. 8 p.m. Services will be conducted by Pastor Rollin Strode. A reception will follow at Greenacres First Baptist Church on Jewetta in Rosedale. Pat was 77 years old. She was born May 22, 1927, to Harry and Ruby White in Richmond, CA, however she spent the majority of her life in Bakersfield. Pat graduated from East Bakersfield High Class of 1945. She began her working career at Kern General Hospital in the food services and finished a lengthy career of 34 years at Pacific Bell as a telephone operator. While working at Pacific Bell she met her husband of 46 years, Donald Graham, during a strike on the picket line. Patsy was very involved in her church, Greenacres First Baptist, making sure to include her grandchildren at every Sunday service. She spent many years as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader, alongside her husband, and received many honors including the District Award of Merit in 1975 for her work. Don has spent the past several years as a loving and devoted husband and caretaker of Pat after she suffered several strokes. Pat was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother. Her grandchildren will always remember the many fun and exciting shopping expeditions they went on and the many arts and crafts she introduced them to. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Greg Graham, grandson, Kenneth, Griggs, sister-in-law, Rose White, and nephew, Randall White. She is survived by her husband, Don Graham; brother, Gordon White; daughter, Linda Griggs; son- in-law, Bill Griggs; great-granddaughter, Lauren Griggs; son, Jeff Graham; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Graham; grandchildren, Victoria Graham and Jacob Graham. She is also survived by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. She leaves behind very special friends, Don and Imagene Allman, Edith Buchanan, and Dee McCullah.
