Mary Virginia Bentz
June 24, 1924 - February 8, 2005

Mary Virginia Bentz, 79, of Las Vegas, Nevada, died on Tuesday, February 8, 
2005 at Mountainview Hospital. 

She was born on June 24, 1924 in Platteville, WI the daughter of George and 
Leone Sanderson. She was united in marriage on April 22, 1943 to William W. 
Bentz also of Platteville. He preceded her in death January 12, 1998. She was 
a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church of Las Vegas. They had three 
children, Douglas of Bakersfield, CA, Marijo of Las Vegas. Their youngest son, 
Tom preceded them in death April 13, 1985. Also surviving are three grandsons, 
Todd Marty of Las Vegas, Jason (Tiffany) Marty of Sparks, NV and Dirk (Renee) 
Bentz of Bakersfield. Great-grandchildren, Justin and Peyton Marty and Andrew 
and Faith Bentz. Also surviving is her brother, Paul Sanderson of Janesville, 
Louise Martin of Las Vegas and many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed cooking, 
gardening and traveling by motor home.
